About

The world runs on stories. Be they through spoken word, writing, or visual media, stories are what first sparked curiosity into us as children, and continue to capture our attention into adulthood. However, it is my belief that illustration holds a special power when it comes to storytelling; the ability to convey an entire tale with just a glance.

With my art, I aim to capture the viewer’s inner child by creating intriguing pieces with characters and environments that ask questions. I strive to create characters that not only appear unique, but have their own fears and desires, and reside in worlds that reflect their personalities. My strong drive to express my stories is the thing that keeps me inspired to create, whether the medium is digital or traditional. I hope that by combining my love of storytelling and illustration, I can incite joy and excitement in others.

I’m currently a Senior in Ringling College of Art and Design’s Illustration Department. I love studying at Ringling; not only am I surrounded by amazing artists that push me to be better, but my time here has opened my eyes to the power of stories and how they connect to illustration. When I’m not busy with school, I enjoy writing, yoga and playing drawing games with my friends.
